Song of this Moment: "Darkness" by Disturbed

So it's been a bit of time. I have been busy working and I don't get on the internet much except on the weekends. I posted a bunch today and there maybe a few more...I am waiting for Flux to stop playing Kane's Wrath long enough to get them scanned, but that could be a while as he hasn't beaten the game yet. *sigh*

So if you haven't read, I am working on a book, but more specifically a story. I call it a book because I plan on printing it off and gifting it to a friend of mine. The basic concept is that two characters who are facing problems in real life end up in a different world that is incomplete and they need to fix it as they learn how to deal with the problems of their personal lives. They have a chance to make some of the same decisions again, but as it is a different world, the consequences of their decisions will have other effects on their life. Without internet at my little sublet that I can access easily, I have been working on this instead. At work, I draw and color the concept art between calls.

is not only friend but a teacher, furthering my abilities, challenging me. But back to her artwork, her works are brought to life with her deep shadows and light. She knows her shadowing! shades a bit differently and uses vivid colors. She tells stories with many of her works, some serious and sad and others funny and comical. and can I say that she draws some very yummy-looking men? Well, she does. Picking out my favorites was rather hard since she has so many great pieces! Here are a few that display her comic style and her use of colors...

draws one of my favorite webcomics. She is a great storyteller with her Ganbare, Shimura-san! and TV Circuit comics. She also can draw some of the cutest chibis I have a ever seen. But I don't want you to get the idea that everything is cute and rosy in her gallery, she knows how to use black and white to her advantage to create some creepy artwork as well.
